About

About the Program

X1 EcoChain is an energy-efficient L1 (PoA) with ~3W nodes and ultra-low fees. The $5M program accelerates dApps and tooling that drive on-chain activity and users to X1. Priority: 90–120 days to deploy (testnet/mainnet), strong security and code quality, clear GTM and adoption metrics.

  • X1 EcoChain’s mission is to deliver best-in-class, energy-efficient Web4 infrastructure for teams of any size — from early startups to established enterprises — via an EVM, Proof-of-Authority L1 with ~3Wh home nodes and sub-cent fees.
  • This grant program is reserved for innovators building and launching high-utility products on X1 EcoChain — spanning DePIN, Infrastructure/Tooling, Finance & Commerce, Consumer/Social, and Gaming — with clear user value and measurable on-chain activity.
  • The $5M X1 Ecosystem Program empowers builders to push what’s possible onchain and bring practical, secure, and scalable innovations to users worldwide, with milestone-based support across grants, infra credits, liquidity & GTM.
  • X1 Ecosystem Grants include several tracks tailored to each team’s needs. Applications are evaluated on impact, readiness (90–120 day deployment plan), security, ecosystem fit, and compliance; awards are sized accordingly for eligible projects.

Grant Eligibility Criteria

All teams building on X1 EcoChain (EVM, PoA) or integrating X1 into their products are eligible to apply for X1 Ecosystem Grants. There are four categories of Web4 innovators eligible for X1 EcoChain grants:

  • DePIN
    & Node Pilots

Projects piloting home/edge nodes (validators, sensors, mobile/IoT) that create verifiable on-chain activity and demonstrate energy-efficient operation on X1 EcoChain.

  • Pre-launch
    & Go-to-Market

Teams in stealth or pre-launch preparing for product/platform releases, testnet/mainnet deployments, TGEs, betas, or airdrop programs, with a 90–120 day delivery plan.

  • AI, Infrastructure
    & Tooling

AI-integrated apps or core infra (compute / storage / indexing / oracles / wallets / dev tools) with enterprise-grade reliability, clear security practices, and measurable developer adoption.

  • Consumer /
    Social / Gaming

User-facing products with growing engagement and high volumes of on-chain transactions (e.g., social graphs, payments, gaming), aiming to scale active users on X1 EcoChain.

FAQ

Fill the short application (≈8 minutes) with your deck and 90–120-day plan. We triage within 72 hours, run due diligence (tech, security, GTM), and—if approved—issue a Grant Agreement with milestones and onboarding.

Yes. Grants (non-dilutive funds) can be combined with subsidies/credits (e.g., RPC/compute/gas rebates) when the roadmap justifies both.

Scoped case-by-case to your expected usage and milestones. We size credits/rebates during agreement finalization to cover a meaningful portion of your infra costs for the pilot/launch phase.

Typically, 3–6 months, with extensions based on performance and need.

You’ll receive an email update after triage, then a decision following review. Approved teams get a Grant Agreement and onboarding package.

Milestone-based tranches. Payouts are in stablecoins pre-TGE and in $X1 post-TGE, subject to KYB/KYC and sanctions screening.

Yes. Current builders, partners, and prior applicants are eligible; awards are based on impact, readiness, and security.

Deliver agreed milestones, use funds/credits for the stated scope, maintain security best practices (audits/bug bounties where applicable), comply with legal/KYB, and share periodic metrics for reporting and co-marketing.

We may pause or re-scope support, defer or reduce remaining tranches, or reclaim unused credits. Teams can propose a remediation plan for reconsideration.
